This directory contains slides I used for a talk I gave at
the St. Thomas Law School in May of 2005 about authentication,
authorization, and online patron access catalogs (OPACs).

The slides are in several different formats.

The Powerpoint slides are not native, but are converted from
OpenOffice format.  If you have OpenOffice installed, use the
file in that format (.swf).

This talk was intended as an introduction, geared for a bunch
of smart librarians, to some geeky topics they will soon hear
and care about!
